In 2014, Lyle participated in the offroad race, the BITD 2014 Vegas to Reno. He was able to take his eldest daughter, Ali, on this amazing adventure. Lee Mundt and Ali Bask acted as co-drivers for Lyle. They finished the race 77th overall, 24th in class.
